Bryant Park Winter Village
Last updated: September 22, 2026
The Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park opens October 28, 2026 and runs through February 28, 2027, with the rink and the holiday shops. Extended hours fall around November 19 through January 3. Shops close earlier than the rink, so confirm the day at bryantpark.org, then book the car to a Midtown curb rather than to a door inside the park.

The short version
Leave for Bryant Park, between Fifth Avenue and Sixth Avenue and 40th and 42nd Streets, with holiday Midtown traffic in mind. A one-way drop starts at $130 sedan or $160 SUV. If the same car should wait through skating and then continue to dinner, book hourly chauffeur service. Three hours is $360 in an E-Class, $450 in an Escalade, $525 in an S-Class, or $600 in a Sprinter. There is no separate village rate.
What is confirmed for 2026
The village is the seasonal market and rink in Bryant Park. The opening date is October 28, 2026. The closing date is February 28, 2027. Both the rink and the holiday shops are part of the run. Around November 19 through January 3 the hours are extended. The shops still close earlier than the rink. This page does not print a clock time for either, because the park posts the day. Check bryantpark.org before you set a pickup.
Nothing else on the program is fixed here. Vendor lists, rink session rules, and bag checks change. Do not build the reservation around a shop you have not confirmed that morning. Build it around the curb, the passenger count, and whether the chauffeur is released or kept.
Where the car can actually stop
Bryant Park is a lawn and a gravel square, not a driveway. The useful edges are Sixth Avenue, the Avenue of the Americas side, and the cross streets at 40th and 42nd. Fifth Avenue is the library side and is a poor place to linger. Name one corner on the booking: Sixth and 42nd, Sixth and 40th, or 42nd between Fifth and Sixth. If that curb is closed to standing, the chauffeur uses the nearest legal stop and you walk the last block. Write a mobile number so that change is a call, not a search.
Holiday evenings stack taxis, tour buses, and people crossing mid-block toward the rink. A car that tries to hold the lane while you shop will be moved. If you need the vehicle nearby, the product is hourly time with an agreed waiting point, not a double-park in front of the tents. Say whether the chauffeur should circle or hold at a named corner a block off Sixth.
When to leave
From a Midtown hotel the drive can be short and still miss a seating if you leave at the hour the rink session starts. From the Upper East Side or Upper West Side, allow for the park drives and for Fifth and Sixth Avenue signals. From the Financial District, the avenue north is the variable. These are planning notes, not a promise the road will be clear. Extended-hour weeks, especially the stretch from about November 19 through January 3, are the crowded ones. Weeknights outside that window are quieter. Weekend late afternoons are not.
If you are coming from an airport and going straight to the village, use the airport page for a direct Manhattan transfer and then a separate city car, or one hourly booking if the chauffeur stays. JFK car service to Manhattan is a $170 sedan estimate and ends at the address you name. It is not a Bryant Park package. LaGuardia sedan to Manhattan is $150. Newark sedan to Manhattan is $170, and any toll belongs on the quote as its own line. A Brooklyn or Queens hotel is not those rows.
Hourly evening or a single drop
Choose point-to-point when the car’s only job is the door-to-curb ride. The floor is $130 sedan or $160 SUV. The written quote uses the two addresses. Choose hourly when skating is one stop in a longer night: hotel, village, dinner, hotel again. The floors are $120 an hour for an E-Class, $150 for an Escalade, $175 for an S-Class, and $200 for a Sprinter. Three hours is the minimum, so the opening totals are $360, $450, $525, and $600. A fourth hour is another hour at the same rate. Do not add the airport flat and the hourly minimum together unless you truly booked both products.
Two adults with ordinary coats fit a sedan. Four people with skate bags and shopping often fit an Escalade, which is listed for up to six passengers. A larger party should look at Sprinter van rental and confirm the assigned layout. The photograph is not a capacity chart. Two cars are two bookings. Ask for them only if you want them.
Coats, bags, and the minimum
Winter coats and shopping bags from the stalls take trunk space a summer airport drop does not. Two people with coats still fit a sedan. Add skates or several shopping bags and ask whether the E-Class still fits before you assume it does. The three-hour minimum is the floor when the car stays. It is not a promise that a long browse of the shops plus dinner will finish in three hours. If you keep the chauffeur, book the hours through the last stop.
What to send with the reservation
Send the date, the local time you want to be at the curb, the pickup address, the corner at Bryant Park, passenger count, and bags. Say if anyone is carrying skates or a stroller that is not a standard suitcase. Say whether the car is released at the village or kept through the next stop. If the next stop is dinner, name the restaurant entrance now. A return pickup needs a time and a phone number. This company does not publish a village meet-and-greet inside the rink.
Gratuity handling is on the written quote. This page does not invent a cancel window. If the plan changes after you receive the number, call (929) 205-4788 before you travel. For a night that also includes Rockefeller Center or Wollman Rink, read the ice skating evening notes and book one hourly window instead of three separate one-ways that leave you between rinks.
FAQ
When is the Bryant Park Winter Village open in 2026?
The Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park opens October 28, 2026 and runs through February 28, 2027. It includes the rink and holiday shops. Extended hours are scheduled around November 19 through January 3. Shops close earlier than the rink. Confirm the day’s hours at bryantpark.org before you leave.
Should the chauffeur wait at Bryant Park?
Wait only if you still need the car. That is hourly hire: E-Class $120, Escalade $150, S-Class $175, Sprinter $200, with a three-hour minimum. A single drop is point-to-point, from $130 sedan or $160 SUV.
Where should the car stop?
Bryant Park sits in Midtown between Fifth Avenue, Sixth Avenue, 40th Street, and 42nd Street. The car cannot enter the park. Use a legal curb on Sixth Avenue or on 40th or 42nd Street, and name that corner on the reservation.
Is the JFK sedan price the ride to Bryant Park?
No. The $170 JFK sedan figure is a direct Manhattan airport transfer. A hotel-to-Bryant-Park ride is either point-to-point or hourly. If you land and keep the car, book hourly from the airport.
What if we are a group?
An Escalade is listed for up to six. A larger party should request a Sprinter and confirm the seating layout. Sprinter hourly is $200, or $600 for three hours.
Book the curb, then the hour
Confirm the park’s hours, name the corner, and choose hourly only if the car stays. Sedan from $120 an hour with a three-hour minimum. Call (929) 205-4788.
