Airport transfer

LGA Car Service

For travelers using LaGuardia, the closest commercial airport to Manhattan. A direct transfer runs between your Manhattan address and the terminal letter on the ticket. The Marine Air Terminal and the central terminal complex are different curbs. If the car should continue to Brooklyn or wait for dinner, that is hourly hire, not this airport transfer.

Starting hourly rates

Hourly hire keeps the car available. Three hours is the minimum. The written quote is the price. Sedan and SUV hourly rates include gratuity and fees. S-Class and Sprinter are starting rates; the booking form confirms your final price, which can vary with taxes, tolls and availability.

Escalade SUV$150$450

Manhattan airport transfer estimates

For a direct pickup or drop-off when Manhattan is one end of the trip. These route figures are estimates. The written quote is the final price, and it is not an hourly total.

Name the terminal letter

Put Terminal A, B, or C on the reservation when the airline has assigned it, and say if the flight uses the Marine Air Terminal. Do not send only "LaGuardia" if the ticket already shows a terminal.

Approaches from Manhattan often use the Grand Central Parkway. Allow 25–50 minutes. Closer does not mean the road is empty at a departure bank.

Two different $150 figures

The LaGuardia-to-Manhattan sedan estimate is $150 for a direct transfer. Escalade hourly is also $150 an hour, and three hours of that is $450. One is a single airport ride. The other keeps the SUV with you.

If four people continue to a Brooklyn dinner and the chauffeur waits, book the Escalade by the hour. A larger party should confirm a Sprinter. The LaGuardia Sprinter estimate to Manhattan is $600. Hourly Sprinter time is $200, or $600 for three hours. Call (929) 205-4788.

Roads and planning around LaGuardia

From Midtown the usual approach is the Queens-Midtown Tunnel or the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge, then the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway to the Grand Central Parkway. From the Upper East Side and Harlem, the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge meets the Grand Central Parkway directly. The Bronx and Westchester reach the airport over the Whitestone or Throgs Neck bridges.

Because the drive is shorter than JFK or Newark, the timing risk is the evening departure bank rather than distance. Give yourself the full planning window of 25–50 minutes plus the time your airline asks for at check-in. If the airline moves you to another terminal, update the reservation so the car goes to the right curb.

Choosing the vehicle for a LaGuardia trip

One or two people with carry-ons fit the E-Class at the $150 sedan estimate. A family with checked bags usually belongs in the Escalade at the $160 SUV estimate, which is listed for six passengers and six bags. A team heading to Queens meetings after landing should look at the hourly Sprinter instead of two separate cars.

LaGuardia also works as the first stop of a longer day. If you land at 9 and need Long Island City, Midtown, and a dinner in Brooklyn, one hourly booking from the terminal is simpler than three separate transfers. List the stops in order on the form or by phone.

Airport operations change. Check LaGuardia Airport for current terminal information, then put the details you have on the reservation.

Questions before you book

Who should book a LaGuardia transfer?

Anyone going directly between Manhattan and LaGuardia. Name the terminal. If the chauffeur continues with you, book hourly.

How much is LaGuardia to Manhattan?

Estimates for a direct Manhattan transfer are sedan $150, SUV $160, and Sprinter $600. The written quote is final.

Why are there two $150 prices?

The sedan airport estimate is $150 for the whole direct ride. Escalade hourly is $150 an hour, so three hours is $450. They are different vehicles and different jobs.

Is LaGuardia the same price as JFK?

No. The Manhattan sedan estimate is $150 at LaGuardia and $170 at JFK. Book the airport on the ticket.

What if my flight is delayed?

Send the flight number. A direct transfer still ends at the Manhattan address. If you need the car to wait, book hourly.

Does a Brooklyn drop use the $150 estimate?

No. Long Island City and Brooklyn Heights are different trips, even when the car uses the Grand Central Parkway. Send both addresses.

Can a Bronx or Westchester pickup use the LaGuardia page?

Use it for the terminal details, but the $150 sedan figure is a Manhattan estimate. A Bronx or Westchester address, usually via the Whitestone or Throgs Neck bridges, is quoted from both addresses.
