Airport transfer

Stewart International car service

For travelers flying through Stewart International in Newburgh, in the Hudson Valley. It is much farther from Manhattan than LaGuardia, JFK, or Westchester County Airport. There is no published Manhattan flat, so do not reuse a JFK, HPN, or Teterboro figure. Tell us both addresses and whether the car should return.

Starting hourly rates

Hourly hire keeps the car available. Three hours is the minimum. The written quote is the price. Sedan and SUV hourly rates include gratuity and fees. S-Class and Sprinter are starting rates; the booking form confirms your final price, which can vary with taxes, tolls and availability.

ClassHourly estimateThree-hour minimum
E-Class sedan$120$360
Escalade SUV$150$450
S-Class$175$525
Sprinter$200$600

Ask for a quote from both addresses

Send both addresses, the airline and flight number if you have them, passenger count, bags, and whether the chauffeur should stay with you or end the trip at Stewart. A direct ride and a round trip with waiting are different bookings.

Hourly rates still apply when you want the car kept: E-Class $120, Escalade $150, S-Class $175, and Sprinter $200, each with a three-hour minimum. Three hours will not cover a Manhattan round trip if the chauffeur waits at Stewart and drives back. Say the full window you need. There is no separate day-package rate.

How Stewart differs from Westchester

Westchester County Airport has a Manhattan sedan estimate of $130 because that field is the closer northern airport, near White Plains. Stewart is farther up the Hudson Valley. Using the HPN figure for Stewart would understate the trip.

If the ticket can be flown into LaGuardia, JFK, Newark, or HPN instead, those airports have their own estimates and their own pages. Call (929) 205-4788 with the Stewart flight details if that is the airport you are actually using.

The drive to Newburgh

Stewart sits near the junction of I-84 and the New York State Thruway (I-87), west of the Hudson River in Orange County. From Manhattan the car usually heads north on the Thruway, or the Palisades Interstate Parkway after the George Washington Bridge, before joining I-84. It is a regional trip, not a city transfer.

Because there is no published Manhattan flat, the quote is built from the two addresses, the time of day, and whether the chauffeur waits. Say so if you want the car to drop you and return empty, or to wait for an inbound passenger and bring them back.

When Stewart makes sense

Travelers heading to the Hudson Valley, West Point, or towns along I-84 sometimes find Stewart closer than the city airports. For a Manhattan address, compare the Stewart quote with the published LaGuardia, JFK, Newark, and Westchester estimates before you book the flight.

For a group, the Sprinter is quoted the same way: both addresses, headcount, bags, and the wait. Hourly Sprinter time starts at $200 with a three-hour minimum, and a Stewart round trip needs more than three hours.

Airport operations change. Check Stewart International Airport for current terminal information, then put the details you have on the reservation.

Questions before you book

Is there a Stewart Airport flat rate to Manhattan?

No. JFK, LaGuardia, Newark, Teterboro, and Westchester have Manhattan estimates. Stewart needs a quote with both addresses.

Can I book Stewart by the hour?

Yes. Hourly rates are $120 sedan, $150 SUV, $175 S-Class, and $200 Sprinter, with a three-hour minimum. Tell us how many hours the chauffeur should stay. A round trip with a wait is longer than three hours.

Is Stewart the same airport as Westchester?

No. Westchester County Airport is HPN, near White Plains. Stewart is SWF, in Newburgh.

Why not use the $130 Westchester sedan estimate?

That estimate is for HPN and Manhattan. Stewart is a longer Hudson Valley trip. Copying it would understate the ride.

What should the quote include?

Both street addresses, flight details, passenger count, bags, and whether you need a direct ride or the car to wait and return.

Which roads does a Stewart trip use?

Usually the New York State Thruway or the Palisades Interstate Parkway north, then I-84 toward Newburgh. The quote reflects the addresses and time of day.
