Airport transfer

Car Service to Newark Airport

For travelers whose ticket is Newark Liberty, in New Jersey, not JFK or LaGuardia. The car crosses the Hudson by the Lincoln Tunnel, Holland Tunnel, or George Washington Bridge, depending on your Manhattan address and the terminal. A direct transfer ends at the door. If the same car continues to meetings, book hourly.

Starting hourly rates

Hourly hire keeps the car available. Three hours is the minimum. The written quote is the price. Sedan and SUV hourly rates include gratuity and fees. S-Class and Sprinter are starting rates; the booking form confirms your final price, which can vary with taxes, tolls and availability.

ClassHourly estimateThree-hour minimum
E-Class sedan$120$360
Escalade SUV$150$450
S-Class$175$525
Sprinter$200$600

Manhattan airport transfer estimates

For a direct pickup or drop-off when Manhattan is one end of the trip. These route figures are estimates. The written quote is the final price, and it is not an hourly total.

The crossing is the timing decision

Say which terminal you are using, A, B, or C, and which Manhattan address you want. Hudson Yards and Hell's Kitchen often point toward the Lincoln Tunnel. The Financial District and Battery Park City often point toward the Holland Tunnel. If you need a specific crossing, write it on the reservation. Otherwise the chauffeur uses the one that fits the terminal and the time of day.

Allow 40–75 minutes for the 16 miles. Newark also has an AirTrain between the terminals and the rail station. If you only need a car on one side of a train ride, say so, so the quote is not written as a full terminal-to-door transfer.

When the $170 sedan estimate is the wrong product

A group that lands at Newark and keeps the car at Hudson Yards is hourly, not the $170 sedan estimate. Sprinter hourly starts at $200, or $600 for three hours, after you confirm the van layout. Two Escalades are a separate request. Ask for them only if you want two cars.

Any toll should appear as its own line on the written quote. The $170 sedan estimate does not list one. Put airline, flight number, terminal, passenger count, and bags on the form. Call (929) 205-4788 if the itinerary changes after you receive the quote.

Newark from outside Manhattan

Newark is often the practical airport for Staten Island, Jersey City, Hoboken, and western New Jersey. Staten Island trips usually cross the Goethals Bridge. Those addresses are real coverage on this site, but they are not the Manhattan estimate. Send both addresses and the terminal letter and the quote will follow the actual route.

Brooklyn to Newark is a longer crossing than it looks on a map, because the car has to cross Manhattan or Staten Island first. If you are comparing JFK and Newark flights from Brooklyn, ask for both quotes before you choose the ticket.

What to send for a Newark pickup

Put the airline, flight number, and terminal on the reservation along with passenger count and bags. Terminal A, B, and C are separate curbs, and some airlines operate from more than one. After landing, follow the airport signs and your chauffeur's meeting instructions.

The E-Class is listed for three passengers and three bags, the Escalade for six and six. A group arriving together for a Hudson Yards offsite should consider the Sprinter, either on the $700 Manhattan estimate for a direct drop or on hourly time if the van waits for the group.

Airport operations change. Check Newark Liberty Airport for current terminal information, then put the details you have on the reservation.

Questions before you book

Who is this Newark transfer for?

Passengers going directly between a Manhattan address and Newark Liberty. Name the terminal. Hoboken or Jersey City is a different quote.

How much is Newark to Manhattan?

Estimates for a direct Manhattan transfer are sedan $170, SUV $160, and Sprinter $700. The written quote is the final price.

Are tolls included in the $170 sedan estimate?

The estimate does not list a toll. If a toll is charged, it should appear on the written quote.

Is the Newark sedan the same trip as JFK?

Both Manhattan sedan estimates are $170, but the airports, terminals, and Hudson crossings are different. Book the airport on the ticket.

Which tunnel should I expect?

It depends on the Manhattan address. Midtown and Hudson Yards often use the Lincoln Tunnel. Downtown often uses the Holland Tunnel. Upper Manhattan can use the George Washington Bridge.

What if we keep the car after landing?

Book hourly from the terminal. Three hours is $360 sedan, $450 SUV, $525 S-Class, or $600 Sprinter.

Is Newark closer than JFK for Staten Island?

Often, because the Goethals Bridge connects Staten Island to New Jersey. A Staten Island address is quoted from both addresses rather than from the Manhattan estimate.
